A learning for next time I edit a novel... do NOT store up "scenes I want to read over one more time before adding them to the final file" until you have 45,000 words in that file. Those scenes are supposed to get read once more after I type in their corrections, and it's supposed to be QUICK, not a major project. Oops.
Writing Project: "Seven"'s edit
Time Planned: 2 hours
Time Spent: 2 hours, 24 minutes
Favourite Part: cutting the majority of an entire scene because it truly wasn't necessary, even though I liked the words, and not feeling even a tiny bit bad about it
Exercise: scheduled rest day
One Fun Thing I Did Today: Did my typing in of the morning's edits while sitting on the balcony (first time in 2008!)
