Horrific Bacardi Ad

Have you seen this dreadful ad campaign yet?

It apparently ran in Israel for two months before the main Bacardi company decided it was inappropriate. It's worse than that: it's repulsive, in my opinion.

The 'concept': get an ugly fat friend and then you'll look better by comparison.

Kate Harding's blog has the ad pictures posted, along with Bacardi's weasel-word "apology" for the campaign.

I am so tired of the whole "the only way a woman can feel good is by tearing her friends down" concept. Sick to death. And I will not be drinking any Bacardi this summer, I can tell you that!
